Social Media Policy.

In order to maintain a professional relationship between client and counselor, your provider will deny/reject any request on any social media platform. This policy is to ensure that your privacy is protected and to avoid boundary violations in the professional relationship. Please avoid contacting your provider through any social media platforms. It may be appropriate to contact your therapist through his or her office email or professional phone number.

If you choose to follow your provider or Graceful Counseling LLC on a public social media profile, note that you risk breaching your confidentiality and privacy by engaging in this content. Your provider will not engage with past or current clients on social media to protect confidentiality and maintain the bounds of a therapeutic relationship. None of the content will reflect specific experiences with clients. There are risks of harm to the therapeutic relationship by choosing to follow your provider on public social media accounts and you are fully responsible for this decision and the associated risks.
